Three steps of commercial landscape design

Walking on the commercial street, we often care about the beautiful goods displayed in the window, the preferential activities launched by the brand store, and the crowded crowd around. After shopping and leisure, few people will pay attention to the rhythm and beauty of the whole commercial street. Every commercial street will consider many factors before it is put into use. There seems to be no commercial space.

The first step to realize the maximization of the function of the commercial street

As an important part of the urban public space, commercial streets mainly provide people with walks, rest, social and party places, and enhance interpersonal communication and regional identity. To a certain extent, it represents the image and spirit of the city.

Unlike other landscapes, the commercial street landscape has a sense of rhythm and beauty in time and space. High quality landscape design helps to cultivate residents' consciousness of maintaining and caring about the city's capacity, promoting the economic prosperity of the urban community, reducing air and visual pollution, traffic noise, and making the building environment more humane, reducing vehicles, reducing the pressure on the environment and reducing accidents.

1. Suitable for a variety of people

Red, yellow, green and white can attract people's attention, improve the ability of visual identification, and highlight the commercial atmosphere of commercial streets. In addition, green plants can relieve tension and flowers bring pleasant feelings. If commercial street has a good visual continuity, it should use the space's collection, transformation and infiltration to increase the level, interest and continuity of the landscape.

3, space form

Commercial street is generally linear belt space, and its length is much larger than width. When people walk in the street, they stop at the time of walking. Accordingly, commercial street can be divided into sports space and stagnant space. Sports space can be used for walks, games, marching or other collective activities; stagnant space can be used for reading, waiting, speaking, gathering, eating and drinking.

4. The scene of the art group

Group scenery is the organization of landscape elements and art. The different combinations of landscape elements in space are integrated into the whole and combine commercial street with natural beauty. A commercial street with special scenery or history can become an educational and commercial street with historical significance.

Many commercial streets are planned in streets with historical traditions. When designing commercial streets in these districts, we should pay attention to protecting the original style and not large-scale transformation.

4. Principle of identifiability

The recognizable environment enables people to enhance the depth of environmental experience and to give people a sense of security. Through commercial street space retractable, interface changes and logo embellishment to enhance identifiability.

5. The principle of visual continuity

The design of commercial street space should be smooth, continuous, predictable line and space from the perspective of walkers.
